Mr. DeNicola has been chasing his dreams of being a rockstar for as long as he can remember. The New York based singer, songwriter and producer is constantly looking to push the boundaries of modern day music, doing so with energized vocals and unique stories to tell…
Jack's musical journey began in 2018 releasing a couple singles, most notably his song So Alone, which gave him a clear identity in his artistry early on. He followed up some years later with his first three projects, all interconnected story-wise under the name, WELCOME TO THE SHOW: A Story by Jack DeNicola. This trilogy follows a tragic hero named Moon through the trials and tribulations of a young adult chasing their wildest dreams of stardom, loosely modeled after Jack’s teenage and college years. Sonically, these projects are defined by their catchy vocal melodies, infectious guitar riffs and thought-provoking contemporary lyricism . During this time, Jack also dove head-first into the business side of the music industry. He became COO of DGS Entertainment, an independent record label and entertainment company run by him and long time best friend Malik Morris, better known by his stage name, Kenyatta.
Jack was born on March 13th, 2001 in Long Island, New York. Growing up, his musical talents were very apparent to his family, giving him an early sense of the potential he possessed. His family took him to many concerts from a young age, including the likes of Roger Waters, John Mayer, The Allman Brothers, Travis Scott and The Red Hot Chili Peppers to name a few. This sparked a strong love and interest in performing for Jack. His pure obsession for music carried him through his adolescent years, fantasizing of one day performing his own original music for a living. Jack’s passion for his craft should be a prime example to younger generations of someone who refuses to give up on their dreams, no matter how improbable they may seem.
Jack’s creative energy, like most pisces, is abundant and his empathy for others shines through the storytelling in his music. He aims to give his audience a genuine feeling of comfort, healing and inspiration through his music by putting an emphasis on relatability and personal vulnerability at the same time. Being only 23 years old, he is actively adapting to life on the fly as fast as it changes around him. Whether the message is about love and loss, perseverance or something even greater, Jack continues to fuel his music by channeling his own experiences and emotions. Overall, DeNicola’s goal is to be a beacon of hope for anyone listening, “I have always viewed music as equally important to anything else in life. Some people become doctors, some people become teachers. I believe music and being an artist are part of my purpose in this life, to aid in making the world a better place.”
